Now that I think about it that might be a good sitcom idea, "My Friend the Super-Dub", kind of like The Odd Couple.

My friend the 'Super-Dub.'
by joey jojo ini speak semi-regularly to an old friend of mine who i would describe as a super-dub.. he knows i am inactive but over the years i have peppered him with a lot of questions about the org.
that i hoped would make him at least pause and think somewhat rationally about the reality of being a jw in this brave new- post gb 2.0 world.. we have discussed everything from the generation changes, to the u.n. , failed prophecy, flip flops, the reduction in size of the wt magazine, the closing/ consolidation of bethels including lay-offs, jw broadcasting, cart witnessing- etc, etc.. what do i mean by super-dub?
he is a born-in, has missionary parents, he reg.

Tell me what you think
by Ft2188 ini left 5 years ago and even though i've had therapy and have been medicated somehow, something from the last creeps up on me.
i started writing a book, mostly for my own healing.
i wrote a letter to my parents of everything i had wanted to say but knew i wouldn't get a chance to.

Hi Ft2188:
Just to let you know, I sent you my letter as a PM, not to the email address. You are a new member with one post after all and I can't reveal my identity, so sending you an email from my email address could risk that. No offense, and thank you for this effort.

Sure, what kind of content are you looking for? Am I right in understanding you want hypothetical letters that haven't really been sent to relatives, but express our true feelings?

Things I Cant Stand Since Leaving Watchtower

Those are my sentiments exactly. Such a relief, especially to be able to put anything on your report form as it doesn't mean anything at the end of the day!
Yes, I just started falsifying my monthly report several months ago! Even after I was mentally out, I still continued to be fairly honest on my report out of not thinking about it, or maybe a little guilt. But now I always put average but decent figures, always above what ministerial servants are required to have. If they're gonna judge me, it's not gonna be based on that paper!

Remember the First "Young People Ask..." VHS?
by Cimarrona indo y'all remember the young people ask tape that came out in the late 90s about "bad association"?
i was a fairly small child with teenage siblings and watched it often (with family and alone cause i thought it was the inside scoop on older kids).
that was back when worldly was still very much so a part of dubspeak (i think they started encouraging people to stop saying it in the mid to late 2000s).

Yes I do. I also heard the JW urban legend that the main actor and actress were never alone in the car, but we're looking at a sheet with holes cut out for the eyes. Stupid, I know. But JWs have a tendency to believe, repeat and propagate stupid things.

I'm still physically in, but one thing I don't miss from being mentally in is the guilt and never feeling good enough or that you've tried hard enough.

Recently when that happened to me again, it was on the last check box in the uploading process but it was just stuck on uploading. To be safe, I selected and copied my post to my clipboard for backup, then exited the page, despite the pop up warning that data from that page would be lost. After the post never ended up appearing, I just pasted it again and the post worked. -

The only things they can kind of be negative about are things they're given permission to be negative about. For instance: At the annual meeting Tony Morris said something about us having too many magazines to read. Then he said, 'Thats okay, you're not being disloyal'. Sure enough, after the meeting I heard a couple people saying 'You know, I always thought that!' (They actually say this about pretty much any new light, in an effort to convince themselves it's 'always been that way'.)
